Zephyr Press, now celebrating its 35th anniversary year, is an independent literary press that publishes contemporary literature in translation from Russia, Eastern Europe and China, with occasional projects from other parts of the globe. We also publish literature from the U.S., including the "Adventures in Poetry" series, and reprint books of literary and historical value that have long been out of print. We seek to be a bridge between cultures, and toward that purpose, we organize bilingual readings, translation workshops, and other educational and cross-cultural events around the country.
