Whirled Tree Arts, L3C

Whirled Tree Arts is a mobile art studio created with the intention of strengthening the roots of community by connecting people to people through affordable, creative arts experiences.

Whirled Tree Arts is owned and operated by Carolyn Crotty, a registered art therapist, Massachusetts licensed mental health counselor and proud 2010 graduate of Lesley University's Expressive Therapies Program in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Carolyn has had a life long love affair with artistic expression and from her first crayon scribbles on walls and in books to her current pursuits on canvas, she has always known in her heart that creative expression is magical.

In her 10 plus years experience teaching art in various settings in addition to her 5 plus years offering therapeutic arts services throughout the Boston area and most recently Chittenden County, Vermont, Carolyn has had the pleasure of bringing that magic into the lives of young and old.  She has humbly witnessed the healing powers of art making and believes wholeheartedly that a world in which we create things together is a world in which we can all feel safe and proud to live in.

Carolyn provides a range of services through Whirled Tree Arts including but not limited to...

- private in home art experiences such as paint parties, birthday parties, etc

- art workshops

-collaboration with other community organizations and providers to offer art experiences to community members

- professional development and training (ie how to use art therapeutically in the classroom)

- art for wellbeing, therapeutic services

-art and wellness in the workplace (ie team building or employee wellness events in which art is the primary activity)

Cost for services varies depending on the circumstances.  Whirled Tree Arts is primarily driven by a social mission to improve our local and global communities through shared creative experiences. Our hope is to use funds gained from clients who can afford it to provide services to clients who cannot and then ideally finding ways to link clients across those demographics to create an authentic sense of unity.

If you are interested in Whirled Tree Arts' mission, services or goals or if you wish to collaborate in anyway please don't hesitate to be in touch. Let's see what grows when we create together!
