I am a Master Teaching Artist for the past 15 years, bringing visual and expressive arts projects to schools, libraries, hospitals, museums and other venues for people of all ages, from pre-k to senior citizens. I have a Masters Degree from Wesleyan University in Fine Arts and am a nationally certified Expressive Arts Therapist. I create my own original projects to fit the need of the venue or group. Mosaics are my specialty, making masks, jewelry, mirror frames, and other types of small projects using materials such as stained glass, broken ceramics, found objects and old jewelry.
I create many other community visual arts projects including painted murals, zentangle art, mask making, woodland fairy & elf environments, and much more. I give mosaic classes to the public at my studio in Guilford, VT. I have sold my mosaic works all over New England and on different artist websites.
I am a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist, Consultant and Educator through the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association. I have fifteen years of experience working with healing arts. In the past, I have worked at St. Francis Hospital's Integrative Medicine Dept., Hartford, CT, as an expressive arts specialist, pastoral counselor and hypnotist. I have worked as an expressive arts therapist at the Kennedy Center, CT, VSA Arts in CT, Masonicare Hospice and many other venues such as schools, hospitals, and programs for people with developmental disabilities.
