Drumming for Success-I am a percussionist trained in West African hand-drumming. I have 30 years of experience presenting Arts-in-Education residencies. Drumming for Success is an engaging hand-drumming experience with Social-emotional skills (SEL)development embedded in the drumming curriculum. My residency programs are known for energizing and galvanizing the entire school community during and after the culminating performances. I’m available for assemblies, workshops and artist residencies in W. African drumming. All residencies are customized to meet the school's scope, scheduling and budget. I provide the instruments of an authentic African djembe drum orchestra. From 2020-present I have been providing professional development seminars for teachers in the Bennington, VT school district, training them to facilitate the Drumming for Success (DfS) method in their classrooms.
