The Putney School Summer Programs

The Putney School Summer Programs offer a full range of workshops for students age 14 to 17 in creative writing, visual arts, and performing arts. We support focused, intensive, and active participation by students who work in a non-competitive environment with self-discipline, energy, and commitment.

Students enroll in two half-day workshops which include: Fiction Writing, Poetry Writing, a wide range of workshops in the Visual Arts – Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Painting, Ceramics, Glass Arts, Fashion Design and, Music and Performing Arts – Songwriting, Vocal Ensemble, Theater and Dance.

The campus of The Putney School is situated on a beautiful hilltop in southern Vermont.
