Mendel's Stained Glass Studio

Welcome to Mendel’s Stained Glass Art Studio!  I’m Lisa and I have been interested in stained glass since I was a child.  I love the way the light shines through it. I began taking classes in Vermont when in my later 20’s and made a small suncatcher and a panel with an iris.  I was hooked.  

Since that time, I have taken many, many, MANY classes in stained glass, glass fusing, mosaics, jewelry making, glass blowing, lampwork and now resin.  I like all aspects of working with glass, but my favorite continues to be working with stained glass.   

Over the years I have taught classes in stained glass, mosaics, glass fusing, etching and resin.  I had the opportunity to purchase a building several years ago in my hometown of Adams and give it a new life; a place where I can do something I love and where I can share it with others.  I am indeed lucky.   

For years I taught art and business at Mt. Greylock High School.  I retired in June, 2023 and now spend my time working with glass.    My hope is that you will enjoy the space I’ve created and together we can work on bringing your art to life!
