Marquee Gallery

Marquee Gallery serves as a platform to promote excellence in fine art and other art forms as well as to perpetuate the values of community and the sharing of human experience and culture through the arts. We seek out ambitious, talented, and sincere local, national, and international artists devoted to having their voices heard and making a positive mark on society and the world.

Founded in October of 2014 by artist and Director Clint Slowik, Marquee Gallery's space plays host to shows featuring talented emerging artists to seasoned masters, both locally and internationally, as well as numerous community and charitable events. Not only does Marquee Gallery showcase engaging visual art shows and openings but we also play host to the New London Art’s Student League, an over 70 year old traditional visual arts workshop group, and offer a wide range of accommodations for events and workshops for all ages and ranges of talent, young and old, novice to expert. Along with the incredible talent we represent, we also open our doors to guest curators, artist groups, and institutions in need of space to showcase their talents, live performers and musicians, and individuals looking to host their own classes, groups, and workshops in order to bring added life to our beautiful space and enrich the local community.

To date, Marquee Gallery’s space has hosted 24 shows, 5 of which were international artist shows showcasing over 40 international Artists, 6 community and charitable exhibitions which opened our space to students of Connecticut College and the non-profit Vista Life Innovations, hundreds of local area and national artists, and artist round table forums attended by contemporary greats such as Artistic Masters Vincent Desiderio, Susanna Coffey, Mel Leipzig, and the late Barkley Hendricks, as well as artist and founder of the Vermont Art Studios, Fred Osborn.

We represent an eclectic mix of tremendously talented emerging, mid career, and established artists from local to international and have only just begun our journey together to bring great artwork and impact to the world.
