Marissa Molinar

Marissa Molinar is a Boston-based contemporary dance artist with roots in Mexican Folkloric dance and Bharatanatyam (a south Indian dance form). She is currently working with Ruckus Dance in Cambridge, MA and nathan trice/RITUALS in Brooklyn, NY. Marissa has freelanced with many Boston-based dance companies and organizations, both as a dancer and as an administrative and marketing consultant, and currently works as the Dance Community Outreach Coordinator at the Deborah Mason Performing Arts Center. A late-comer to contemporary dancer and an avid class-taker in Boston, Marissa is the founder/curator of the Midday Movement Series, a program whose mission is to invigorate dance in Boston by providing support for new contemporary dance teachers to hone their skills and build a following while offering a space for professional dancers to consistently interact with innovative movement concepts and to connect with peers in a rigorous yet judgement-free space.
