LOST NATION THEATER, INCORPORATED

Montpelier's award-winning professional theater company (named One of the Best Regional Theaters in America by the New York City Drama League) tours productions for elementary and adult audiences. Available productions change annually, but typically highlight contemporary social issues or works of significant literary value. LNT also offers special school matinees in its home theater, complete with study guides and post-show discussions.

Residencies & workshops for school available, ranging from targeting specific skills (such as our Will on Wheels Shakespeare Workshops or Stage Management workshops) to designing & building classroom theaters with students, to creating school-wide curricula-connected productions.
Follow this link for our educational philosophy & program details: http://lostnationtheater.org/overview/

In its home theater, LNT company members and guest artists lead a rotating schedule of master-classes in specific skills (for ages 6 through those for working professionals: ), theater camps (performance & technical), and two-four Theater FOR Kids BY Kids productions/year. Custom-designed mentorships, apprenticeships and internships are also offered.

Residencies and Education Programs are led by Artistic Directors Kim Allen Bent and Kathleen Keenan, Technical Director/Resident Designer Casey Covey, PSM & Artistic Associate Kris Weir, and special guest artists. Fees range broadly based on activity, whether short workshop, or bringing a production or longterm residency to your school.
