As a fashion stylist/designer, I facilitate the authentic expression of self through clothing and accessories. I believe that what one chooses to wear matters and that style can be cultivated. Fabrics, fibers and textures inspire me.  When designing clothing or accessories, my process is to remain open to what the materials have to say to me. Ideas and silhouettes come to the surface in a very organic way. When teaching, my classes are centered on wearable art and the exploration and embellishment of textiles. I like to celebrate individuality and nurture introspection in my students. My hope is that they will find their own “voice” and learn to respect the “voice” of others.

I Have Worked With

  • December 2019

In keeping with the ideas of the Fashion Revolution, I collaborated with the Velvet Beret consignment shop owner to deliver a presentation on the benefits of purchasing second hand clothing. We created outfits for day, night, casual and occasion. All the attendees were engaged and participated in creating their own outfits.

  • September 2019

Paige Magratten, founded Wayland on the Runway, a fashion show to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society of New England. She invited me to participate in a pre-fundraiser along with Grace & Heart jewelry rep and Beauty Counter make up rep. My personal style presentation centered on knowing and accepting one's physical self and tips for dressing and accessorizing to feel fabulous. My wardrobe consulting service was an auction item at the fashion show.
