I am the former Artistic Director and owner of Celebration Barn Theatre in Maine. I have been a touring artist for thirty years, and I continue to create original characters, performances, films, and plays. My performances combine improvisation techniques, acting, mime and magic. I teach college level courses and independent individual workshops for professionals. I specialize in creating and directing solo shows, plays and comic revue characters utilizing devising techniques, physical ensemble graphics, movement, and illusion. My recent devised production Shadowplay brought me two Kennedy Center College Theatre Festival Accolades, one for Directing and one for Technical Innovation. I have recently toured my solo material to Turkey,Canada, China and Russia for international festivals. I have developed performance material, seminars, and workshops in movement theatre for actors, mimes, opera singers, musicians, and conductors. Venues this year have included, The Tennessee Arts Academy, St. Louis Repertory Theatre, and The Very Physical Comedy Institute at Celebration Theatre in S. Paris, Maine.
