Karl Neubauer has been working as a visual artist and an artisan since graduating College, with a BFA, in 1985. He has been the sole-proprietor of an artist/artisan business in Vermont for the better part of this time, working as a sculptor, woodcarver, and drawing media artist. He shows and sells this work through web sites, galleries, and fine arts and crafts shows all over the country. Before becoming a full time artist/artisan, he gained valuable experience with tools and equipment in the building trades and at a small wood and metal working facility in Massachusetts. Within the last ten years, he began teaching and has continued to teach visual arts in and around the public schools his local community of Newbury, VT.
Karl will be offering a wide range of visual arts instruction with a strong emphasis on drawing and sculptural proficiency important to the enhancement of the student's/artist's creative practice. Karl offers one day workshops and week-long to month-long residencies at schools or facilities that might want a more indepth study of portions of his arts education curiculum. He also offers his curriculum, in it's entirety, to be taught over the course one or more shool years if your school or facility has the need for a comprehensive arts education program.
