ASSEMBLY PERFORMANCES:

Garbage Is My Bag An award winning performance by Jack Golden as the comedic “expert,” Dr. T With A “Ph.D. in Garbology,” a zany and irresistible personality, he juggles and jokes his way through a world of waste. Dr. T. delights his audiences while sharing his knowledge that rubbish is a resource that is just too good to throw away.

Since 1989, Garbage Is My Bag has helped hundreds of thousands of children around the country explore serious issues about our wasteful habits in the hilarious context of a professional staged variety show. Jack Golden uses the power
of live performance to engage children with facts of our solid waste problems and a positive model of how to solve them. Garbage Is My Bag presents children with rewarding and important ways they can directly contribute to their communities.

Water Water Everywhere fills elementary and middle school students with information about one of the most valuable resources on earth. Using mime, juggling, magic, jokes and song, combined with a wonderful and engaging character, Water Water Everywhere covers topics on water composition, point and non-point source pollution, conservation, water cycles and ground water quality. The information in the show is accurate, pertinent and delivered in a theatrical style students and teachers will thoroughly enjoy. Voted “Best of Fest” at Georgia’s winning Water Festival six years in a row!

Though these two shows are significantly different programs, they both use comedic theater, audience participation and curriculum-based information with the goal of strengthening new attitudes and responsibilities toward our common resources.

Jack also offer other shows for theaters, schools, and festivals.
