Institute of Contemporary Art

Founded in 1936, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) is one of the oldest contemporary art institutions in the United States. The mission of the ICA is to share the pleasures of reflection, inspiration, provocation, and imagination that contemporary art offers through public access to art, artists, and the creative process.

I Have Worked With

  • The ICA and Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy run a summer artist residency program which features masterclasses, educational programs, and a multi-disciplinary performance.

  • World Music/CRASHarts presents a dance series at the ICA. Additionally, the ICA and World Music co-present musical performances throughout the year.

  • Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company has performed at the ICA six times, most recently in February 2019 with the Boston premiere of his Analogy Trilogy.
