GOSHEN PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Goshen Public Library has been serving the community since 1902 in three different locations.  Our mission is to educate, inform and entertain our patrons.

Over the years we have found that our most successful speakers or performers have been history and animals.  Though we have tried various music programs, the most successful are Irish performers around early spring.

We do host after-school programs during the school year on different themes.

I Have Worked With

  • May 2013

Mark Albertson is a researcher and writer who specializes in military history.  He has spoken every year since 2013 and our patrons eagerly look forward to his talks.  His website is full of information about him and his books and articles.

  • September 2007

Connecticut Library Consortium is our go to group for vendor discounts, performer lists and general over all information.  They are wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable about all things library and can found out anything.  If you are an artist or performer I would recommend that you look to get on their performer list because many libraries look there when searching for just the right person to help their patrons.

  • September 2007

They have many programs that we have utilized over the years.
