As a producer and costume designer, Everett’s credits include the International Emmy Awards, the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, twice at the White House, Lincoln Center Out-of-Doors, Carnegie Hall, Off-Broadway, regional opera and dance companies in New England, and an assortment of premiere festivals from Europe to Japan. Original works have been commissioned by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and the New York State Council on the Arts funding experimental multi-media works.
Everett Hoag has worked with Corporate America (Buddha Records, Chrysler, Disney, SciFi Channel) and nonprofit organizations (American Cancer, Red Cross, Gloria Gemma) for more than four decades as a management and design consultant with a track record of global achievement. He has a wide-ranging understanding of the business of branding by styling a variety of marketing experiences – everything from making “the shot” look natural to making guests feel a wave of emotions as they experience Fortune 500 brands. He’s designed experiential merchandising campaigns and fashion shows for luxury designers include Armani, Channel, Nicole Miller, Cartier, and now, Zack Lo Shoes. Hoag’s events and campaigns have been featured on the Style Network, Extra, Entertainment Tonight, and CNN; on the cover of Time and Newsweek (with Dr. Edwin Land of Polaroid), in such prominent periodicals as Town & Country, Glamour, Horizon and Vanity Fair; in trade journals (Adweek, W, Crain’s, Special Events); and in scores of newspapers around the globe (London Times, Tokyo Times, Boston Herald, Boston Globe, NY Times, NY Post, Providence Journal).
Everett Hoag’s wearable fiber art and performance works collaborate with some of the greatest talents to standing ovations. Everett is involved with the Smart Fashion Initiative for sustainability and is featured in many solo exhibits and juried shows in museums and galleries throughout the US. As a teaching artist Everett has served as a guest lecturer for three semesters at Brown University; faculty member at NY Center for Adult Education, the 92nd Street Y, NY Open Center, Safari Modeling Agency, Boston Center for Adult Education, The Joy of Movement in Cambridge and artist-in-residence at St. Andrews School in Barrington, RI ; marketing consultant with RI Small Business Development Center at Johnson & Wales University. Member of International Special Events Society, NY New Media Association, International Alliance for Theatre & Education, Rhode Island Film Collaborative, the Intuitive Arts Guild, and Ecolect – the community for sustainable design.
