Flamenco Dance Project is a company of artists dedicated to the evolving art of Flamenco dance and music. Its mission is to promote intercultural understanding, community growth, and cultural diversity by showcasing the talents of US-based flamenco performers. Its Artistic Director is Sabrina Aviles (sabrina@flamencodanceproject.com). What we do: • Full-length theatrical concerts • Mini concerts, private parties, and functions • College and university residency programs • Programs for schools and libraries • Lecture demonstrations • Workshop and Master classes in Flamenco Dance Fees are negotiable, depending on venue size and number of performances. I Have Worked With

  • December 2019

    An annual tradition, Flamenco Dance Project has performed in Tony Williams' Urban Nutcracker for the past seven years. We are featured in MARZIPAN, where a soloist dances ballet in the foreground and our flamenco dancers are featured in the background dancing with Spanish shawls. In 2019, the flamenco choreography also included two dancers playing castanets.

  • November 2019

    Performed a 30-minute set of flamenco dancing for audiences attending the arts festival.

  • May 2019

    FDP's Sabrina Aviles was one the featured soloists for this monthly series at Jose Mateo's space, where flamenco was featured in the month of May.
