About ACAF

The Arts and Cultural Alliance of Freeport (ACAF) was formed in 2015 by residents and representatives of local businesses and organizations to enhance access to and participation in greater Freeport’s creative talent and cultural resources and to foster growth of the creative economy.

  • Mission: Our mission is to foster arts and culture through creative collaboration, expanding arts access, and amplifying the arts as powerful tools to create and strengthen community.

  • Vision: The Arts & Cultural Alliance of Freeport is committed to enhancing and cultivating Greater Freeport as a vibrant center for arts and culture.

  • Impact: We support individuals and organizations in the arts and culture sector with an organized creative network; ongoing programs; professional development opportunities; promotion; and programming both in the community and inside our new venue, Meetinghouse Arts.
