I grew up in the Adirondack Park of New York in a very small resort town. Went to college in Vermont and grad school in Wyoming
I started using my parents Kodak Brownie then an Kodak Instamatic in high school through grad school. I took alot of pics of my HS classmates on our Senior trip to Washington DC for 5 days. Small school, 26 seniors. It was fun and rewarding.
After grad school, my former Vermont roommate visited me, on my first job in Gillette, Wy. In need of some fast cash sold me all his camera/darkroom equipment and I was off, spending hours in the darkroom we built in the former fruit cellar of the house in Gillette.. This was in 1976.
Personally I really can't pin down the subjects of my images to a few because they run the gamit from landscapes to city/villagescapes to moonscapes to abstracts in nature to gardenscapes to.......
