Answers to your Top Questions: Updating your User Account and Profile Managers

The CreativeGround admin team has been seeing a lot of site activity lately: from new user accounts getting created, profiles getting claimed, and requests coming in for profile management or other changes in profile ownership.

 As creative people, places, and organizations get ready to look their digital best on CreativeGround in advance of grant applications, events, and more this fall, we’ve received lots of questions about people reviving long inactive accounts, or needing to claim or transfer ownership to new staff.

  1. How can I tell if I already have a user account?
  2. How can I change my user account info (such as name, email, and mailing preferences)?
  3. What does it mean to “claim” a profile?
  4. How can I give other users affiliated with my business/org access to update my profile? (These might be other staff at your organization, grant writers you're working with, your agent, a marketing consultant, etc.)

It's a good idea to check semi-annually for any needed updates to your user account (did your email change?) and profile managers (have staff joined/departed?). And of course, you can contact us if you need assistance or have further questions about making these changes.
