WELLESLEY COLLEGE CONCERT SERIES

The Wellesley College Concert Series brings world-class performers to campus, complementing the Music Department’s academic offerings and augmenting the cultural life of the College and surrounding community. The Concert Series presents approximately 16 concerts per academic year, in a wide array of musical genres, including Classical, Early Music, Jazz, Electronic/Experimental, and World Music from a diversity of cultures, as well as "crossover" interdisciplinary, intercultural, and interdepartmental performances. We work to collaborate with many departments, programs, and organizations both from Wellesley College and far beyond. All of the concerts are free and open to the public, and in addition to embedding the artists into classes when possible, we often offer master classes, receptions, workshops, and other engagement activities for the public as well.
