
VTIFF is a cultural non-profit organization whose mission is to enrich the community through film. The largest program of the Foundation is the annual Vermont International Film Festival in October. Vermont’s longest running film festival, 2019 marks its 34th Anniversary. The festival is best known for featuring groundbreaking and independent films from around the world and Vermont and for the Regional Film Showcase, a juried selection of films made by filmmakers from VT, NH, ME and Québec.VTIFF is also a year-round organization with monthly film screenings and the Global Roots Film Festival in April. The 2019 festival runs October 17th - 27th, at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington, at the BCA Center and at ECHO, Leahy Center For Lake Champlain. VTIFF also runs VAMP, the Vermont Movie Archive Program, whose mission is to locate, remaster and make available films made in Vermont. the VAMP online searchable database is viewable at http://vamp.vtiff.org.
