The mission of Theatre-in-Action is to use drama and theatre strategies for diversity, inclusion, empathy, perspective-taking, collaboration, healthy problem solving, and innovative approaches to social change within and outside of school settings. We use theatre and storytelling to teach bullying prevention, conflict transformation, and social justice skills in Vermont and throughout New England. Our signature bullying prevention program explores key concepts in anti-bullying awareness alongside drama activities for social-emotional learning to boost students’ confidence, encourage healthy risk-taking, and build empathy skills for all ages and abilities.
