Springfield Performing Arts Development Corporation (SPADC) is a Massachusetts Chapter 180 Corporation which has attained 501 (c ) (3) status as a not-for-profit charity from the Internal Revenue Service. SPADC provides facility management services for two performing arts facilities (CityStage and Symphony Hall) in Springfield, MA. SPADC's only client is the City of Springfield.

We present a Broadway series and children series at Symphony Hall and an off Broadway series at CityStage. To fill in the gaps between our presentation we rent both facilities to various, producers, community organizations, and various other activities. Our events include but are not limited to, dramas, comedy, musicals, concerts, graduations, Springfield Symphony Orchestra, Public Forum, Graduations, Dance recitals and competitions, and conferences. We host on an average of 250 performances a year, which brings over 150,000 patrons in to downtown Springfield. Over 60% our patrons dine before or after a show, visit the local bars and their ticket price includes a parking fee which is also paid to the City.
