Sam Moss

Sam Moss is a New England based songwriter and string player. His eight solo albums explore the vast field of Americana, from original and interpreted folk songs, to pastoral and occasionally jagged instrumental guitar. Moss has also released two albums with the old-time group, The Howling Kettles, and compiled Imaginational Anthem Volume Five for Tompkins Square Records.

In fall 2012 he was in residence at The MacDowell Colony. His work has been featured on No Depression, Pitchfork, The FADER, and WFMU, among others.
