Old-fashioned but fresh as the ears on a grasshopper’s legs, puppets interact with the audience during these lively one-woman performances by Nancy Tyndall. Inspired by a love for the folk art traditions of puppetry, she brings her own ingenuity and imagination to these original productions. The repertoire features folk tales from around the world with themes of kindness, humor, imagination and love of simple beauties. Characters go on adventures, make foolish mistakes, struggle, and find help in unexpected places. Animals talk, generosity and kindness find true rewards, and mysterious things are possible. Says Nancy, "It’s a poetic language, a loving language that seeks to encourage as well as to enchant."
