Jack Golden, creator of Garbage Is My Bag and Water Water Everywhere, has been a professional variety artist for over 30 years. He has performed with the world-famous Pickle Family Circus of San Francisco and the award winning “New Vaudeville” comedy troupe, the Wright Brothers. Since 1989 he has been performing theatrically acclaimed educational programs throughout the country in schools, theaters and festivals. In 1991 he won the Excellence in Environmental Education award from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Water Water Everywhere fills elementary and middle school students with information about one of the most valuable resources on earth. Using mime, juggling, magic, jokes and song, combined with a wonderful and engaging character, Water Water Everywhere covers topics on water composition, point and non-point source pollution, conservation, water cycles and ground water quality. The information in the show is accurate, pertinent and delivered in a theatrical style students and teachers will thoroughly enjoy. Though these two shows are significantly different programs, they both use comedic theater, audience participation and curriculum-based information with the goal of strengthening new attitudes and responsibilities toward our common resources.
