IMP for Kids

iMP provides quality theater education to ages 6-16 on and off the island of Martha's Vineyard. With our "no mistakes, only gifts," philosophy, all our students develop superior acting skills for the stage and solid confidence for life. Through our one day workshops, after school classes and summer camp we educate and entertain kids of all ages with the power of play. Director Donna Swift holds a theater degree from Emerson College.  After working professionally as an actor, stage manager and director she began teaching full time fifteen years ago.  She is certified to teach theater and music to grades K-12 in Massachusetts. Donna has co-authored four children's musicals published by Samuel French and Playscripts, Inc. She has directed the award winning improv troupe the IMPers for eleven years. She has received many accolades from improv and theater professionals about the high level of training her students receive in IMP.
