Pianist Diana Fanning has performed extensively throughout the U.S. and in France, Germany, England, Austria, Holland, the Czech Republic, Canada & Switzerland. She has performed numerous times as a concerto soloist with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra. Vermont Public Television featured her in a program of works by Scarlatti, Ravel & Chopin. Recent concerts include a solo recital at the Schloss Leopoldskron ("Sound of Music" castle) in Salzburg, a performance of Schumann's Piano Quintet with the Takacs String Quartet, an appearance as concerto soloist in the debut concert of the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra, & concerts in Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Charlieu, Cleveland, St. Paul, New York, VT, NH and CT. She has been a guest artist in concerts with the Jupiter and Alexander String Quartets. With her husband Emory Fanning, she owned and directed Point Counterpoint Chamber Music Camp and appeared frequently in concerts with Point Counterpoint faculty.
