The Cultural Organization of Lowell (COOL) is an independent, non-profit chartered organization with the mission of strengthening the vitality and economic growth of arts and culture in the Lowell area. COOL serves the creative community by fostering communication, collaboration, advocacy and promotion.

I Have Worked With

  • January 2013

    COOL and ALL have worked together on several city events including, planning for a Lowell arts festival, Destination Lowell at the Lowell Folk Festival and the Holiday Shopping Tour at the City of Lights Parade.  A representative from ALL also serves on the COOL board.

  • January 2013

    COOL has a regular guest spot on WCAP's "Living for the Weekend" show discussing highlights of upcoming cultural events in the city.  WCAP is also a regular sponsor of City events, broadcasting live annually from the City of Lights Parade.

  • March 2012

    COOL and LCK became partners after receiving an Adams grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to support activities in Lowell including the annual Kerouac festival.  COOL serves as a marketing partner for Kerouac actively promoting the event through newsletters, social media posts and by helping with the distribution of materials.
