I have always been an artist....all my early works are in the draws of many of my childhood teachers! I went on later, to receive a degree in art history and accented it with a minor in music history, both have served me well!
As an artist my work developed in many directions. To work big; I took this passion to the wall in the form of murals, designing and painting on commissions. To work small; I explore the world under our feet from forest to sea. I use ink and dip pen, an old school method to creat fine delicate lines in these illustrations on stationary and framed art.
Another expressions of my art is on hand painted glassware both new and up-cycle which includes those surprise finds that cross my path. During the summer I am a member of Rutland County Farmers Market and also show a in Brandon and Rochester markets.
My year around business is Sip and Paint Parties (both public and private) for birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette parties, team building, or the joy of gathering friends and having fun. I have had the oppotunity to apply this type of event to assistant living and memory care places, designing these paintings to be approachable for all....i am particularly fond of these events
Other medium I work in is color pencils to construct what I call 'Name Art'. By using names and birth-date I illustrate around their name. This is a popular gift for new little ones. I collaborate with the client to design one only gift.
