The Boston Photo Collaborative was established in 1991 to offer classes, seminars, and programs on various aspects of photography that stretch the bounds of conventional photo education and bring photography to people traditionally without access to the medium. Driven by a strong commitment to arts education and community outreach, we pursue our mission by running photography workshops for committed amateurs and working professionals and free of charge programs for urban youth from challenged neighborhoods of Boston. Everyone associated with the Collaborative including the teachers, the staff and the volunteers loves photography and is motivated to be involved with these programs because of this passion.
