Bonnie Waters

Bonnie is a Vermont singer/songwriter whose warm, sometimes haunting, original songs are a blend of folk, celtic, and blues influences. From reflective ballads and gritty blues to soaring inspirational tunes, her music includes themes of romantic love, appreciation of nature, and the quest for spiritual meaning in our everyday human lives.

She has performed in the New England area for several years, and more recently in the Midwest and in Greenwich Village in NYC. Bonnie's first CD, "The Journey" was recorded in 2000, and in that year, Bonnie won a finalist prize in the The John Lennon Songwriting Contest for her song "Hushabye", and was recorded in 2002, along with Peter McConnel, guitarist for The Dream Band, by the contest's educational tour bus at "A State of Bean" coffeehouse in Ludlow, VT.

Her new CD "Awakening" will have lyrics and sound files available soon on her website at:
