Arts Center at 8 Hancock

FoSML (Friends of the Soldiers Memorial Library) is a registered 501c3 charitable organization. The church next door to the library was very generously donated by the remaining members to the FoSML. After donations, many renovations and upgrades, the Friends are pleased to offer this facility, now known as the Arts Center at 8 Hancock Avenue, to the community. The Arts Center is run entirely by volunteers. The Arts Center offers classes, concerts, art shows, presentations, classes, meeting space, and facility rentals. This is a well appointed multi-purpose building on two floors, ideal for celebrations, weddings, lectures, workshops or classes.  Included is a fully equipped kitchen with tables and chairs. Comfort is assured with recent upgrade to heating and cooling. Handicap accessible.
Rental options (per day): Main Floor (upstairs, accomodates ~80) $100, Community Room (downstairs ~60), $100, both $200. Rental for less than a full day can be negotiated. Non-profit, community service, and government organizations may be allowed to have building use at a reduced rent or without a rental charge, determined on a case-by-case basis. Please direct rental inquiries to soldiersmemoriallibraryfriends@gmail.com.
