Alyssa Oxley

 

Alyssa Oxley is an independent artist creating original work drawing on inspiration from her natural surroundings and a personal narrative.  This work is made from sheets of glass, cut, stacked and configured, and fired in a kiln. She also teaches these techniques at South End Glass at Davis Studio in Burlington, Vermont, The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, Corning and Oatka Glass School in Batavia, both in New York, and Snow Farm Craft School in Williamsburg, Massachisetts.  

Oxley's  work was included in the Shelburne Museum's exhibit "Supercool Glass", and just juried into Corning Museum of Glass New Glass Review 36.
