We are a non profit service organization for dramatists. Our mission is to help communities establish identities through the performing arts with a focus on new works. Currently we are offering five original works available for touring or as part of residencies:
Georgia O'Keeffe Paints Paradise...Libretto by Tom Dunn and music by Will Ogmundson. This award-winning chamber musical had a successful run last summer at the Jewell Theatre where it won awards for best music and lyrics as well as best supporting actress. Most recently performed at the Derek Walcott Theatre in Boston.
The Children of MLK a tribute to our fallen leader that focuses on the summer his children spent hiding in New Hampshire after his assassination.
The Lending Doll...a new musical by Tom Dunn and Will Ogmundson about the doll that saved a public library--can be adapted to your specific library. original jazz musical by Robert Gardner inspired by one of Tomie dePaola's earliest books: First One Foot, Then The Other Foot about three generations of women learning from each other.
Kindness & Cruelty: Willa Cather of NH...a new musical by William Ogmundson about the 15 years that famed author Will Cather visited Jaffrey, NH and did some of her most acclaimed writing. Earlier this year had a successful run at The Hudson Guild Theatre in NYC.
Community Films...residencies can be worked out that have as a final outcome a short film based on a community event or topic. Past film topics in this program are one room schoolhouses, the food pantry, town's oldest citizen, etc.
The Toupee...a PG 13 two person award winning play that explores comically what happens when a new widow confronts the woman who was in bed with her husband when he had his fatal heart attack.
Master Class in Script Writing: The 10 minute soap opera...a two to six hour workshop that culminates in readings of ten minute plays in soap opera style by all the participants.
The comic opera workshop...a two to six hour workshop that is great for corporate and educational residencies--focuses on team building through musical story-telling.
Timeslips...our company has become certified Timeslips memory loss workshop leaders.

I Have Worked With

    We did a one week residency that resulted in 3 sold out performances and the world premiere of our jazz musical, Lessons, by Robert Gardner.

    We did a holiday camp that ended with a performance of our own adaptation of the Dogs and Cats musical.

    Every Dec. for the last three years we've performed Las Posadas for this organization--each time the money raised has gone towars a different social service agency in the Upper Valley.  Our composer-in-residence, Will Ogmundson, has also performed solo concerts for this very active communit church.
