Alaina Wilson is a choreographer, performer, and visual artist trained in classical ballet, modern, and contemporary dance. She holds a BA in Classics and Art History from Vassar College and received an MFA in Dance from Sarah Lawrence College. Her choreography, investigating phenomena of perception, combines movement with elements of visual art to alter and shape viewer experience. She is a teaching artist with experience working with students ranging from pre-kindergarten - adults, teaching within the technical disciplines of ballet, modern, jazz, and contemporary as well as performance theory and composition.
