ACT @ St. Andrew’s (ACTSA) is a premier children’s theater offering comprehensive professional training in theater arts for all youth, grades K-12, in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts. Mentored by Theater Teaching Artists, student ACTors build a foundation in acting technique, character creation, ensemble skills, play scripting, voice and diction, movement and improvisation. The ACTSA Ensemble is the gem of ACT @ St. Andrew’s, performing four full-scale public productions throughout the year. Ensemble members, ages 8-18, continue to study advanced acting and technical theater while also expanding their personal practice with challenging roles and dramaturgy. Each program is a unique experience in which students explore imagination and storytelling in a creative, collaborative and supportive environment.
