
My work includes interactive electronic media, site-specific sculpture, public art and original video design for theater and dance. Currently, I teach robotics, art history and visual arts.

A sensor produces three numbers which pertain to surface below. Each drawing also corresponds to three numbers, describing subtle variations in the evolution of lines and shapes. With Elizabeth Ainslie.

When the same viewer returns, the same video plays. The video is the result of considered choices, which aim to evoke the experience of being in a particular place at a certain moment.

I placed boxes around town asking people to draw maps to their favorite places in Bangor. This compilation shows similarities and differences in mark making and drawing, as well as concepts of space and how cities are experienced.

Words are chosen according to wind speed and appear on a spinning aluminum turbine. The turbine, which hangs from a tree outside, performs persistence of vision with LED lights.

Currently collaborating with Charlotte Griffin and Milica Paranosic on a multimedia dance piece commissioned by and performed at the Hartt School. Will be co-teaching a collaborative multimedia workshop there.

Created original video for multimedia dance by choreographers Nya McCarthy-Brown, Charlotte Griffin and Paul Sarvis, and projection design for The Pajama Game, directed by Davis Robinson.

Recieved funding to create a series of artworks through a "Good Idea Grant." Also recently awarded a "Percent for Art" commission for a public art installation at the IMRC center in Orono.
