42 Maple Contemporary Art Center

Open to the public, 42 Maple Contemporary Art Center is both a working art studio space and an art gallery, housed in a historic church built in Bethlehem, NH in 1877. We fondly refer to it as “The Tallest Toy Box in Town”. Home to multiple  resident artists working in individual studio spaces, 42 Maple houses The Gallery at 42 Maple, which hosts artist receptions on the First Friday of each month and curates a handful of open call, themed art shows throughout the year. 42 Maple is also home to Lost Dog Salon: Manupelli Student Gallery. Through partnerships with area art educators, we give young artists the opportunity to display their work and experience their first artist receptions alongside more seasoned artists. 42 Maple features unique artwork from mechanical wire sculptures and kinetic art to encaustic wax painting, pottery and traditional mediums, multimedia displays and videos, as well as a fully operational internet radio station, iRadio42.  Visit our website to learn more about calls for art, opening receptions, events, and art classes currently being offered at 42 Maple.
